X Japan is officially up and running!

And why am I so late as usual on X Japan news, when I could slit my wrists to hear them live? (no I actually wouldn’t). I have no clue, but anyway, X Japan’s debut song sneaked right under my nose when the people on my floor were talking about Saw IV – I’d never suspect that X Japan would be hired to perform the ending song for it! It’s rather incredulous, but there it is… and you can hear a sample of it up on JRock Revolution. It’s the huge X JAPAN/SAW IV picture on the left that’s playing the excerpt from X Japan’s I.V., and if you right click on the SWF and select ‘Play’ after it’s finished, you can hear it again…. not that you might want to do so many times, since it’s just a 10 second clip showing that Toshi can still rip it out like the old days. Yes, that huge X JAPAN flash there that doesn’t let you shut it up, not the streaming media player below that.

X JAPAN!! WOOOO!!!

BTW, that X Japan site sucks ass. It’s full of ass-kissing, if you ask me. Okay, we get it, Yoshiki Hayashi is great, but you don’t have to go this far! Or maybe it’s just because all they post are press releases. That ‘S.K.I.N.’ ‘live AX2007 performance review’ was more like a PR guy sucking some hard, seriously professional ass there. Just read it and you’ll know what I mean. That’s not to say that S.K.I.N. sucks, though…. I still love Yoshiki’s music!

EDIT: AAAHHHH!!! NOOOO!! According to this page on JRock Revolution, the I.V. promo was held in Odaiba, right at that Sega Aqua City place! NOOOO….. I just had to go there two and a half years too early…. I even went on the Yurikamome! And I even sneaked into weird places around the entire area… and to think only now X Japan is there… I should be there!
